August travels

So once again I begin a post by saying how slack I've been at updating, but I'm currently sitting in a room at a meeting in Dublin. So I have a bit of time to think about my holiday and my first experience of the Edinburgh festival. I have to say Edinburgh fringe was a fabulous experience, and I will definitely going back as a performer and as audience. We saw a piece by barbershopera.com and a play on human trafficking directed by Emma Thompson.

Olaaaa coca colaaaa! Ibizaaa was beautiful, fun, tiring and refreshing. I met so many wonderful people, from teachers who have been going for the last 5 yrs to peole who go down seasonally as a sort of Ibiza family. It is an amazing place, I hadn't expected so many families and older couples just chilled out beach running sushi eating hippies. Swimming every day is something I want to keep doing that I started whilst there. Admittedly swimming in the outdoor pool in blazing sunshine is not quite the same as a swim in the local leisure centre but where there's a will there's a way!

And before that there was Paris, the pic is from inside the Cathedral which was quite beautiful. I had a great time with my hunny there, and can't wait until the next adventure!
