Blood and Gifts

An unintentional great night out! My cousins mi madre and I saw this at the National, and really enjoyed it. It is about the Russian invasion of Afganistan and the war with Pakistan and America as well as the so called "special relationship".

It has a unexpected humour running throught and mixes historical events with personal narratives really well.

This post is well old but just noticed I never published it so will put it up now anyway. It was a great play and if it tours I'd recommend it!
