Marni for H&M

Ok so H&M of late have had some pretty big collaborations but to be honest none of them have quite lived up to the standard set by Lanvin (see my faves from that here).. but this year on March 8th Marni for H&M launches. I don't know how i will manage the next 6 weeks but i am beyond excited by the newly released advertising shots. First newscame out in Vogue Russia apparently and the full advertising shoots will be launching on feb 8th...watch this space!

My fave from Primark SS12

Women's primark SS12 collection i spotted on bunnipunch earlier today, and this is defo my fave piece of what I've seen so far, the hue the slit the length all add up to making a very rare trip to the primark queue from hell... I will be wearing mine with leopard print topshop wedge boots or some cream wedge sandals. Not to mention a possible head to toe block colour look with orange suede carvela courts topped off with a splash of gold accessories and a popping print bag - in fact i may be likely to raid the Menswear collection for some of the v.sharp tailoring! Oooo!

Special Delivery!

Yep a Kurt Geiger sale happened and yes I was sucked in and spat out the other side with 2 gorgeous scarves (Lily and Frances) and an uber fantastic pair of boots called Vanessa - which i am now officially pronouncing my spring boots. The green and blue combo is perfect for many a dress/maxi skirt and if you have read any of my previous posts you will know I have already declared it spring time so all is well in the world! A boot clad significantly taller Roothy coming to a town near you!

Ok so my-wardrobe is on its' final week of its sale... It has taken a while but my 3 fave things from the sale are must purchases!

1) Yellow silk trousers by Sportmax - perfect for the color POP! SS12 hitting the shops now. Style with a sleeveless white top or for the braver fashionistas another eye-popping shade.

2) Ochre midi fine knit dress - great for layering and temperamental British weather!

3) Moschino frog prince clutch - there has never been a more fabulous frog!...(sorry kermit)

                          

To Buy or Not To Buy...?

Summer Memories via Wang

Arghhh this time of year when it isn't really cold but it definitely isn't warm but the SS collections make you want to put all your chunky knits into storage and break out the summer dresses and sandals... The new T by Alexander Wang pieces make me want to do just that so instead i found a happy medium and ventured into the Kurt Geiger sale to find a pair of spring boots.. yes i said spring boots! The flimsy flats in the shot above just will not do for a wet and windy London Spring and my new Wang Skirt needs height (an area in which i am distinctly lacking...) Pics to come when they arrive! :-) Wrap up! it ain't as warm as you wish it were!
